Winchester Model 12 Featherweight pump in 12 gauge, serial 1813653F, made around 1958. The 28-inch barrel is choked Modified, the chamber is 2 3/4 inches, the bore is excellent, and a bead sits up front over walnut stock and forend. The seller grades the whole gun very good.

A Model 12 with a fixed Modified choke is a plain field pump, nothing on it to snag or adjust, and in South Carolina it is also legal for deer under the any-legal-firearm rule with a suitable load, in Game Zone 3 from August 15 or Zone 4 from September 1. Stick to 2 3/4-inch shells, since that is all the chamber takes. The excellent bore says the barrel has been looked after through the decades, and the very good grade on the rest of the gun means it can go to the field without worry over a new mark.
