The Stoeger Zephyr Uplander is a 20-gauge side-by-side from the 1960s, serial number 128407. Barrels run 27.5 inches with 3-inch chambers and fixed chokes, improved cylinder and modified. The action is a sidelock with engraving, double triggers, automatic ejectors and a manual safety. Furniture is checkered walnut with a beavertail forearm, and length of pull measures 15.5 inches to a Browning recoil pad.

Improved cylinder and modified in a light 20-gauge double is the classic quail-walk setup, and the long 15.5-inch stock fits a taller shooter without a spacer. It shows some light handling marks and wear but is rated very good overall, with excellent bores. South Carolina lets you use any legal firearm for deer, though this one is built for birds and clays rather than the August 15 to January 1 deer season in the Midlands and Lowcountry.
