Here is a 20-gauge A400 Xplor, Italian made, serial XA138955, built light with a 26-inch blued vent-rib barrel, fiber-optic front bead, 3-inch chamber and an extended screw-in choke. The action is anodized, and someone has fitted a Briley extended charging handle, extended bolt release and weighted magazine cap. The walnut is nicely figured and checkered, with a 14-inch length of pull to a Kick-Eez pad. Near excellent condition overall, with case and extra chokes.

The short barrel, light weight and 14-inch stock make this a gun for a smaller-framed shooter or anyone who walks a lot of ground. The weighted mag cap pulls the balance forward for swinging on crossing birds, and the Kick-Eez pad softens the heavier 3-inch loads. It will cover South Carolina upland and dove work and, under the state's any-legal-firearm rule, a Midlands deer stand too.
