Colt built this Anaconda in 1994, chambered in .45 Long Colt with a 6-inch barrel. It is the double-action stainless steel large-frame revolver, serial number MM96961. The metal and the grips are both graded excellent, the bore is excellent, and the overall rating is excellent. The original case comes with it.

A 6-inch .45 Colt Anaconda is a range and field revolver for South Carolina shooters who like big-bore wheelguns, and it carries enough interest as a 1990s Colt to draw collectors too. South Carolina has no purchase permit, no registry and no waiting period for handguns, so once the dealer runs the federal check the revolver goes home with you the same visit. Private resale to another resident later needs no state background check, as long as you are not selling to someone you know is barred from owning a gun.
