NIGHTHAWKusedShips to FFL

A DWM 1920 Artillery Luger carrying the American importer's marks: A.F. Stoeger Inc, New York on the right side of the slide and Genuine Luger, Registered U.S. Patent Office on the right side of the frame. Serial 6822N, 9mm, 8-inch barrel, built after 1931. The pistol is all matching and presents like new as restored, with excellent grips. The magazine is unnumbered, which is correct for these, and stamped Germany.
Stoeger was the only importer bringing Lugers into the United States in this period. He registered the Luger name in 1929, and from 1931 the three-line marking and the words Genuine Luger were stamped on the guns he sold, which is what dates this one. It is a collector's Luger for a South Carolina buyer, bought for the markings and the restoration rather than for daily use, and it comes through a licensed dealer with Form 4473 and a NICS check; a current state concealed weapons permit is accepted by many dealers in place of that check.
