The Beretta PX4 Storm full-size is a double-action 9mm on a polymer frame with a 4-inch barrel. This one comes in its case with two extra magazines. The supplier describes it as new, with a stock photograph on the listing, while our catalog shows it as used; ask before ordering if the distinction matters to you.

A double-action pistol fires its first shot through a longer trigger pull, which many owners prefer for a gun kept loaded at home, and a full-size 9mm with spare magazines is set up for the range as much as the nightstand. Buying it in South Carolina means photo ID and Form 4473 at a licensed dealer and a NICS check, or a current state concealed weapons permit at the many dealers that accept one in place of the check. There is no purchase permit, no registry and no state waiting period, so the pistol goes home with you once the dealer clears the paperwork.
